Meet halfway in Bogotá
For a group meeting in Bogotá, the fairest points are usually TransMilenio stations where trunk lines meet - Héroes, Ricaurte, Centro Memoria or Museo del Oro - so most of the city reaches them with one transfer. Which is fairest depends on where everyone starts: togather times each person door to door and finds the spots where nobody is stuck with a much longer trip.

Where groups actually meet in Bogotá
Interchanges that work as a fair midpoint for most groups. togather will not always land on one of these - it answers for your actual starting points - but they are the ones that come up again and again.
Héroes
TransMilenio Autonorte and Caracas trunk lines
Where the northern trunk lines meet around Calle 80, and the fair answer for a group split between Chapinero, Usaquén and the north of the city.
Ricaurte
TransMilenio NQS and Américas trunk lines
The western crossing, joining the NQS and Américas corridors, which makes it fairer than the centre for a group living in Kennedy, Puente Aranda or along the NQS.
Centro Memoria
TransMilenio Calle 26 trunk line
On the Calle 26 corridor at the edge of the centre, and a good middle for a group with people coming in from the airport side, Salitre or Teusaquillo.
Museo del Oro
TransMilenio Eje Ambiental
At the foot of La Candelaria, which gives a group somewhere to actually go - the historic centre, cafés and museums - rather than a platform to stand on.
Portal del Norte
TransMilenio Autonorte terminus and SITP feeder buses
The northern terminal, and the fair pick for a group living beyond Calle 170 or coming in from the northern municipalities by bus.
Portal de las Américas
TransMilenio Américas terminus and SITP feeder buses
The south-western terminal, and fairer than a long ride north for a group based in Kennedy, Bosa or the far south-west of the city.
Portal Suba
TransMilenio Suba terminus and SITP feeder buses
The north-western terminal, and the natural meeting point for a group spread across Suba, one of the largest localities, without crossing the whole city.
How to pick a fair meeting point in Bogotá
Bogotá is long and narrow, stretched north to south along the eastern hills, and that shape is what makes the map’s midpoint misleading. Distance across the city says little about time: traffic is heavy, and Pico y Placa means not everyone can drive every day. Two people the same distance from a point can be twenty minutes or an hour away from it.
TransMilenio is what most groups actually have in common, and what matters is where its trunk lines meet. Héroes links the northern corridors, Ricaurte joins NQS and Américas, and the stations around the centre, Centro Memoria on Calle 26 and Museo del Oro on the Eje Ambiental, connect to most of the network. Works for the coming Metro have closed or moved some stations on the Caracas, so the usual route is not always the quickest one right now.
Northern groups meet at Héroes, south-western ones at Ricaurte
The centre is not neutral. A group living in Usaquén, Chapinero and Suba is better served by Héroes than by a ride downtown. A group across Kennedy and Bosa is better off at Ricaurte or even Portal de las Américas. Sending either group to La Candelaria adds a leg nobody needed.
At 2,600 metres, with afternoon rain that can slow every bus and car at once, a short trip is worth a lot. togather works out each person’s journey on TransMilenio, by car, by bike or on foot, and finds the stations and streets where those times are close. Worth sharing before the rain starts.
